Religion or Redeemed: The Difference is in the Heart

*_Religious or Redeemed: The Difference is in the Heart_* As Christians, we may stumble and fall into sin, but it is impossible to continue living in sin without experiencing deep conviction and misery. The presence of Christ in our lives transforms us, making it intolerable to persist in a sinful lifestyle. *"We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him"* (1 John 5:18). When Christ dwells within us, the Holy Spirit brings conviction when we stray. This conviction is not a mere feeling of guilt; it is the deep sense that something is fundamentally wrong, leading us to repentance and a desire to return to God. Jesus said in John 16:8, *"And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment."* This conviction is evidence that we are truly born of God. A true Christian cannot find peace in a life of unrepentant sin. The Holy Spirit within ...

The Indwelling Spirit: No Room for Darkness The idea that the Holy Spirit can cohabit with demon spirits within a believer is a dangerous and misleading doctrine. It goes against the clear teaching of Scripture and the very nature of God. When the Holy Spirit takes residence in a believer, He brings with Him the light and life of Christ, driving out all darkness. *"And what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Cor 6:14). There is not a single example in the New Testament of a believer being delivered from demons. The Bible does not contain warnings for Christians to avoid possession, nor does it provide instructions for deliverance services aimed at believers. In fact, the very idea contradicts the nature of the new life we receive in Christ. *"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed"* (John 8:36). When Christ sets us free, we are truly free—free from the bondage of sin and the power of the enemy. The absence of New Testament teaching on e...
