  ADVICE FOR YOUNG MINISTERS  1. Anybody can fall. I repeat anybody can fall in ministry. Don’t forget! 2. Anointing doesn’t protect against temptations, seductions and attacks. Don’t forget! 3. Regular personal retreat will keep you strong. Don’t forget! 4. Your strength is God’s Word. Study and meditate on it daily. Don’t forget! 5. Let go of offenses. Die to offense. Offense can come from anyone even your wife. 6. Prioritize your secret place. As a minister unnecessary visitation, gisting and wanderings are distractions.  7. Don’t forget old habits. The habits you struggled with in the old don’t forget them.  8. Keep nailing your weaknesses to the cross. It is important! 9. Family before ministry. The most important Person to know is our Creator. In fact, Jesus taught that eternal life is not just a span of time; it is a relationship: “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3). The key to truly knowing God is found in what God has revealed about Himself in the Bible. He wants to be known (see Acts 17:27). The problem is our sinfulness.   *_Controling Your Anger Before It Controls You_* Anger is a dangerous emotion when left unchecked. It clouds judgment, leads to rash decisions, and often results in consequences we later regret. The Bible warns against the foolishness of uncontrolled anger, and one of the most sobering examples is found in the life of Moses.   Moses was a great leader chosen by God, yet even he struggled with anger. When the Israelites complained about a lack of water, God gave him a specific instruction: *"Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water."* (Numbers 20:8) However, instead of speaking to the rock as God commanded, Moses, in his frustration, struck the rock twice, saying, *"Hear now, you rebels!
