Declaration Power - Micah 3:8
Declaration Power - Micah 3:8
Introduction:
God will empower us to declare His counsel. His counsel to
sinners. His power to accomplish. His power to break yokes and wrought
deliverance. His power to declare our victory over situations, challenges of
life and declare His testimonies of His goodness in our lives in the land of
living. As we are willing to offer ourselves, His power will be released upon
us. “Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power, in the beauties
of holiness, from the womb of the morning. You have the dew of your youth.” Ps
110:3.
Power To Declare:
The times we are in now are similar to the period in
Israel when corrupt leaders and priests were having their way and holding the
sway. A time when nobody could speak the truth against the sinful life of the
people. It was a time when God’s service went for money and when falsehood was
the order of the day even among prophets.
But God will not leave His people in any dispensation,
without a witness. He will empower whomsoever is yielded and has totally
surrendered himself to His spirit as in the case of the disciples to whom Jesus
said “And ye shall receive power ... Acts 1:8. So, in like manner, Prophet
Micah was filled with the spirit and made bold to declare the mandate and the
mind of God to the house of Israel – “But truly, I am full of power by the
Spirit of the Lord. And of justice and might to declare to Jacob his
transgression. And Israel his sins.” For better understanding of the times of Micah
– we read vs 9-12.
In our life according to divine guidance and
inspiration is a time of empowerment for you and I to declare unto our
generation its transgressions. It is a time to declare and in clear terms, to
the enemy, our victory. It is time to declare our testimonies. It is time to
declare His wonderful works in our life. Ps 145:7. It is time to confess
without wavering and declare His blessedness.
If Christ was anointed to proclaim all-round freedom
to us – Isa 61:1-3; Lk 4:18-19. We also, in like manner will continue to
declare our victorious Christian life everywhere, ever time, in all situations
and circumstances.
