The Proverbs 31 Woman and the Ephesians 5 Man: A Match Made in Heaven

*_The Proverbs 31 Woman and the Ephesians 5 Man: A Match Made in Heaven_*

In the book of Proverbs, we read about the character and value of a virtuous woman in chapter 31. This passage describes a woman who is hardworking, diligent, and wise. She is a valuable asset to her husband and family, and she is praised and respected by those around her. Many men desire to find such a woman, but it's important to note that if a man wants a Proverbs 31 woman, he must first become an Ephesians 5 man.

In Ephesians 5, the Apostle Paul describes the roles of husbands and wives in marriage. He instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. A man who desires a Proverbs 31 woman must be willing to sacrificially love his wife and put her needs before his own, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her.

Ephesians 5:25-28 says, *"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself."*

In addition to sacrificial love, a man who desires a Proverbs 31 woman must also lead his family in a godly manner. He must be the spiritual head of the household and set an example of faithfulness and obedience to God. Ephesians 5:23 says, *"For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body."*

A man who desires a Proverbs 31 woman must also be a man of integrity and honor. He must be trustworthy and honest in his dealings with his wife and others. Proverbs 20:7 says, *"The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him."*

In conclusion, if a man wants a Proverbs 31 woman, he must first become an Ephesians 5 man. He must sacrificially love his wife, lead his family in a godly manner, and be a man of integrity and honor. Let us strive to become the kind of men that God desires us to be, so that we may have strong and fulfilling marriages that honor Him.
