THE EFFICACY OF GOD'S WORD


Jn. 1:1 

In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the Word was God.


It is worth noting that God is the same as His word. The WORD of God has been with Him from the beginning. The word of God is as powerful as God Himself but many Christians are ignorant of this. The word of God is one of the weapons of our warfare to fight battles of life. Jesus Christ made use of it and defeated satan. 


THE POTENCY OF GOD'S WORD.

1. The WORD of God can save the worst sinner. Acts 9:1-8.

2. In Ps. 107:20, the WORD of God can heal and save from destruction.

3. In Heb. 11:3, the WORD of God creates the universe.

4. In Jos. 1:8, God instructs and guides His children by His WORD.

5. In Lk. 5:5-7, the WORD of God makes the impossible possible. 

6. In Matt. 14:15-21, Jesus Christ fed five thousand men with five loaves of bread and two fishes by the power of spoken word.

7. In Ps. 119: 105, the WORD provides light to navigate life as we journey through.

8. In Ps. 119: 9, 11, the WORD of God guides us to live a righteous life.


The integrity of God's word is unquestionable. It cannot be faulted.


3 LEVELS OF GOD'S WORD.

1. READING LEVEL.

Many read the Bible like newspapers. They have the logos that kill. They have head knowledge of God's word and for that reason, they could not live victorious Christian life. Acts 8:27-33.

2. STUDYING LEVEL.

2 Tim. 2:15.

This is a deeper level of knowing God through His WORD. This is a level where you do a critical analysis of God's word to have a deep understanding of His word. 

3. MEDITATION LEVEL 

Jos:1:8

This is a level where God begins to reveal Himself to you and give you the correct interpretation of His word that you read and study. This is the level where God begins to pour Himself into you. The truth is that this is the level you begin to live by the RHEMA WORD. This is the level where you speak the word of God and Satan obeys. At this level, situations respond to spoken word. Mountains move in response to the spoken word. You decree a thing and it is established. 


Friends, if you are not genuinely born again and live a life of holiness, you cannot speak the word of God to that situation and circumstances and they will obey you. Are you born again?
