Have you ever been on an airplane as it flew through a thunderstorm? The experience can be both unnerving and awe-inspiring. All around you, the storm's fury is evident – rain beating against the windows, the wind howling, and looks of worry on passengers' faces. In these moments, you might wonder, "When will we reach the other side of this storm?"


In these turbulent flights, the transition from anxiety to peace is almost instantaneous as the plane breaks through the clouds, revealing the sun's radiant glow just beyond the storm.


As children of God, we don't have to wait for our personal storms to pass to experience the light and peace of the Son. Psalm 119:105 assures us, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."* God's Word sustains us through life's storms and opens our eyes to see the Son, the radiance of God's glory, even as we soar through challenges.


John 8:12 echoes this truth: *"Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, 'I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.'"* The Son's light is constant, shining brilliantly even in the midst of life's turbulence.


We are invited to embrace God's truth, allowing it to guide us through the storms and illuminate our perspective with the light of the Son. Philippians 4:7 assures us, *"and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."*


May we find comfort and assurance in God's Word, experiencing the light and peace of the Son while soaring through life's storms.
