In the midst of a world that appears to be unraveling, becoming more frayed, and filled with fear, there is a truth we must hold onto with unwavering faith: there is a God in heaven. Day by day, we hear of wars and rumors of war, of false claims, famines, earthquakes, and pestilences. Nations rise against nations, and kingdoms clash. Our fellow Christians face attacks and persecution at an alarming pace. The world seems unstable and unsteady. But we must remember, there is a God in heaven.

We need not allow fear and anxiety to consume us, nor should we succumb to despair. Instead, we can find assurance and peace in the knowledge that there is a God in heaven.

A remarkable example of steadfast faith in turbulent times is found in the life of Daniel. He lived in a world of constant change, with empires rising and falling. His own nation, Israel, was wiped off the earth as if it were a stain. Yet, Daniel's spirit remained unwavering because he understood the sovereign providence of the God of heaven. He proclaimed, *"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings... The Most High rules in the kingdom of men"* (Daniel 2:20-21; 4:17).

As we journey through the Last Days, we are forewarned that perilous times will come. But remember, there is a God in heaven, and if you know Christ as your Savior, this God is your God. *He reigns and governs, and our times are securely in His hands* (Psalm 31:15).

In a world marked by change and uncertainty, cling to the God who never changes. When fear and uncertainty threaten to unravel your peace, remember that our heavenly Father remains steadfast. In Him, we can find refuge, strength, and unshakable hope.
