PERSONAL WALK WITH GOD

Luk. 9:23

When you choose to be personal with God, you are likely to walk alone with Him. The reason for a personal walk with God in life and ministry is purely about Jesus Christ alone.

When you are walking with God on a personal level, don't allow those who could not walk again on a narrow way to distract you. Only those who can endure to the end shall be saved. 

When I gave my life to Christ, God surrounded me with men and ministries that nurtured me unto maturity and pointed me to Christ and Him alone. God gave me a blueprint on how to walk with Him on a personal level. The truth is, that the blueprint is not popular, bogus, and seen by all men. Mockers came around but like Joseph, I did not allow them to exchange the divine blueprint with things that have no eternal value. 

Some of my friends with whom we started the race together dropped their blueprint, vision, or dream for what makes them famous and acceptable but did not help them to walk with God in purity. Some like Demas have left the faith because of the love of this present world. They could not continue on the old path anymore. They saw walking on the old path as a hard thing and because of that went back. Jn. 6:47-69.

In Jn. 6:66, even the disciples went back because they could not cope. 

Friend, walking with God on a personal level carries a price tag. Are you ready to pay the price? You must be ready to walk in His step in purity. Ps. 85:13, 1Pet. 2:21.

In 1Kgs. 12:26-30

Jeroboam presents two calves of gold to the children of Israel at Bethel and Dan to worship. Instead of traveling to Judah to worship God, there is another god in Israel. That looks like a good alternative. Going to Judah is time-consuming, stressful, and a waste of money. 

What Potiphar's wife wanted to do to Joseph was to exchange his glorious dream for ten minutes of pleasure so that he would not be able to walk with God on a personal basis and finally lose the throne. 

Friends, don't be among those that Jesus Christ will say to "I know ye not, ye workers of iniquity". Mind you, the same believers prophecy in His name, they cast out devils in His name and did many wonders in His name. They miss it because, along the way, they exchange their glorious dream for the pleasure of sin and cannot walk with God in purity. Matt. 7:22-23.

In Judges 16:16-21, Samson traded his seven anointed locks that connected him to the throne of grace for casual sex with Delilah. He lost his personal walk with God in purity. Friends, have you traded your own seven locks that connected you to the source of your strength on the lap of Delilah? Some is money, some, is fame, some is political power, some is social status, and some is human influence. If that is your case, run to the man of Calvary. He is ready to save you and give you a new beginning. 

You may even be Esau, who sold his birthright for red pottage and lost his inheritance among the saints of God. 

There are some of us, the reason why you are where you are today is because you exchange your glorious blueprint, vision, and dream for something that looks like it.

 God's original plan for your life is to raise another Joseph who will guide jealously his dream and walk in purity daily till he gets to the throne.
