♡Proverbs 16♡

Many individuals experience doubts and fear when it comes to the prospect of marriage. The idea of committing to someone for the rest of their lives can be overwhelming, especially considering the uncertainty of the future and the prevalence of failed marriages. It's understandable that brides and grooms may question whether their own marriage will endure.

However, attempting to predict the future is impossible. Instead, we should turn to the wisdom found in Proverbs 16, which offers guidance on how to approach our future by committing our ways to the Lord.

Reading from Proverbs 16, we discover valuable insights on making plans, addressing pride, conducting fair business practices, using uplifting words, and strengthening friendships. Proverbs 16:3 advises us, *"Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established."* But what does it mean to commit our actions to the Lord?

To commit our work to the Lord involves dedicating everything we do to His purposes through prayer and surrendering the outcomes to Him. It means striving to do our best for the glory of God and relying on His guidance and provision.

Regardless of the endeavor we embark upon, whether it's purchasing a car, pursuing education, launching a church program, entering into marriage or any other significant life decision, we should commit it to God. We should seek His wisdom, trust in His faithfulness, and offer our actions and plans to Him.

By committing our ways to the Lord, we acknowledge that He is the ultimate authority over our lives and the source of true success. Let us trust in His guidance and commit our future and every aspect of our lives to Him, knowing that in His hands, we find true security and fulfillment.
