God is Your Strength When You Are Weary Weary

God is Your Strength When You Are Weary ..

Life can leave us exhausted—physically drained, emotionally spent, and spiritually weary. In these moments, God does not scold our tired hearts; He invites us into His rest. *"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). This is not a conditional offer—it is a promise for all who feel the weight of the world upon their shoulders.

Even the strongest faith can grow faint under prolonged strain. The prophet Isaiah reminds us, *"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength"* (Isaiah 40:29). God does not ask us to pretend we're not tired. Instead, He meets us in our exhaustion and offers His supernatural strength. "Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

Your weariness does not mean you have failed. Even Elijah, after his great victory on Mount Carmel, grew weary and asked God to take his life. Yet God responded with gentle provision, not condemnation. "The journey is too great for you" (1 Kings 19:7), the angel told him, before providing food and rest. God knows your limits better than you do.

When you feel you cannot take another step, remember that  "the Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand"  (Psalm 121:5). His mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness does not depend on your energy level. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you" (Psalm 55:22).

Your worth is not measured by your productivity. Your strength is not found in your resilience, but in His presence. Let go of what you cannot carry, and receive the peace that comes from trusting the One who never grows tired. "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27).
