While knowledge, leadership skills, and theological training are important, pastoral character and ethics are the foundation upon which a successful and lasting ministry is built. A pastor's effectiveness is not measured only by the size of a congregation or the number of programs organized but by the quality of character demonstrated in daily life and service.
