*_Reverence for God's Name: A Command, Not a Suggestion_* Using God's name in vain is not something to be taken lightly, yet many Christians today have sadly normalized it in everyday speech. They use God's name flippantly to express shock, anger, or frustration, without realizing the gravity of their words. This careless use of God’s name dishonors Him and diminishes the reverence He deserves.  God's name is holy, and He has made it clear in His Word that He will not tolerate the misuse of His name. *"You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain"* (Exodus 20:7).
