God's Plan for Man's Salvation

GOD’S PROVISION FOR MAN'S SALVATION BIBLE TEXT: John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. THE CREATION God created the world and all within it, and He called it good ( Genesis 1:1–31 ). Mankind was  created in God's image  and was designed to live a life of fellowship with Him. God formed Adam, the first man, from the dust of the earth: "then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature" ( Genesis 2:7 ). He placed Adam "… in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it" ( Genesis 2:15 ) and told Adam he could eat from any tree in the garden except for one—the tree of the knowledge of good and evil at the center of the garden. Use Your Words to Bless

Image
*_"Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For “He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.”_* *1 Peter 3:8–10* *_USE YOUR WORDS TO BLESS!_* _*Beloved, I want you to see that your words are powerful. If you desire to love life and see good days, all you need to do is to refrain your tongue from speaking evil.*_ _*It sounds simple. In fact, you may even contend that it is too simple. How many of us truly believe that our tongue wields so much influence and power over our future, even our day-to-day living?*_ _*The tongue seems minute and ...

Declaration Power - Micah 3:8

Declaration Power -  Micah 3:8 Introduction: God will empower us to declare His counsel. His counsel to sinners. His power to accomplish. His power to break yokes and wrought deliverance. His power to declare our victory over situations, challenges of life and declare His testimonies of His goodness in our lives in the land of living. As we are willing to offer ourselves, His power will be released upon us. “Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power, in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning. You have the dew of your youth.” Ps 110:3.   Power To Declare: The times we are in now are similar to the period in Israel when corrupt leaders and priests were having their way and holding the sway. A time when nobody could speak the truth against the sinful life of the people. It was a time when God’s service went for money and when falsehood was the order of the day even among prophets.   But God will not leave His people in an...

POSITIONING YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE AT THE CENTRE OF GOD’S WILL

Image
POSITIONING YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE AT THE CENTRE OF GOD’S WILL     Introduction: The life of a man is full of challenges – Christians are also not excluded from these. In every marriage or any relationship, there are always expectations – great expectations – Yet there is fantasy and there is reality. Such great expectations may be in sexual fulfilment, blissful romance, cordial relationship, mutual understanding, financial buoyance and enhanced social status. Sometimes, things turn otherwise.   Positioning Your Relationship And Marriage At The Centre Of God’s Will If, however, the relationship or the marriage is built first of all, on the foundation of God’s will, adverse events that may seemingly undermine the realisation of these or any of these expectations and which are capable of positioning the marriage or relationship against God’s will can easily be stepping stones to consolidate the home for greater achievements not only in our career but also in ...
