DEVELOPING A CULTURE OF DISCIPLESHIP IN MINISTRY TEXT: MATTHEW 28:19-20 MARK 16:15-16 INTRODUCTION This is a wake-up call and a lovely reminder for ministers to focus more on the very essence of our calling which is: *TO MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS* (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16). It's time to shift from mere activities to intentional and local discipleship-making. Additionally, to invest in people by teaching them God's Word and empowering them to rise from disciples to disciplers, thereby spreading the Gospel globally. The world needs authentic followers of Jesus, so let's rise to this challenge! THE ESSENCE OF DISCIPLESHIP The core essence of discipleship is following Jesus Christ and becoming like Him. It's about surrendering to His lordship, learning from His teachings, and living out His ways.
